Unlike standard diamond shoes, which grind the surface, PCD (Polycrystalline Diamond) tools function as scrapers, peeling and slicing through materials.

The Sase M6 plate with 2×1/2 PCD & 2 Shark Segments for removing medium-thick coatings where you want to balance speed with a controlled finish.
Segment Type: 2 PCD + 2 Shark-shaped segments. The PCD bits do the heavy lifting of scraping, while the “shark” or bar segments (often made of metal-bond diamonds or tungsten carbide) stabilize the tool and prevent it from digging too deep into the concrete.
Base Shape: Trapezoid (Universal). This fits most standard floor grinding machines like Husqvarna, Lavina, and HTC using magnetic plates or quick-change systems.
Action: Aggressive scraping. Ideal for materials that would otherwise melt or “gum up” standard diamond segments.
