Excellent Full PCD grinding shoes for aggressive removal of all kinds of floor coatings, such as epoxy, glue, paint, varnish, mastic, adhesives, and more. Ideal for surface preparation and coating removal projects.
PCD Types: Full Round x 2 pieces
These are the primary “cutters.” Large, solid polycrystalline diamond blocks that are designed to fracture and peel off thick layers of epoxy, polyurethane, or heavy mastics.
Cylinder metal bond provides a smaller footprint than a bar but more vertical wear material than a button. It acts as a structural pillar that supports the machine’s weight, preventing the PCDs from “digging in” or gouging the concrete.
It is available to customize both clockwise and counterclockwise PCD diamond segments.
Best Applications
This specific tool is a “go-to” for the following scenarios:
• Thick, Brittle Coatings: Removing thick epoxy (3mm+) or high-build self-leveling compounds where you need maximum downward pressure.
• Sticky/Elastic Membranes: The cylinder helps keep the tool at a fixed height even when working on rubberized waterproofing membranes that might otherwise “pull” a standard shoe into the floor.
• Uneven Slabs: The cylindrical shape handles floor undulations better than a long bar, as it has a smaller surface area and is less likely to get hung up on high spots.
