HTC single bar grinding shoes are more aggressive compared to their double-segment plate. Because the machine’s entire weight is concentrated on half the surface area (one bar instead of two), they bite significantly deeper into the concrete and best for lighter machines.
The grinding wheel is characterised by a flawless quality at a very high diamond concentration. It allows for quick and cool sanding with a clean sanding pattern. The disc is particularly used on industrial floors, preparation of concrete floors and in the preparation of new coatings, for the removal of old coatings or coverings.
PCD Segment – 6 HolesTrapezoid PCD’s are great for thick coating removal, very aggressive. For best results remove bulk of coating without continued contact with concrete. Come back with an aggressive metal bond diamond segment and clean up any thin coating left behind. This will help preserve the life of the PCD segments.

• Application: These grinding shoes are mainly used for surface treatment of concrete, leveling, the first step of polishing, and removal of thin coatings and adhesives.
• Compatibility: They adopt an “easy change” sliding design, which can be quickly installed onto the HTC floor grinding machine. Some models are also compatible with Husqvarna machines.
• Adhesive types: To match different hardnesses of concrete, there are various metal adhesives available, including ultra-soft, soft, medium, hard, and ultra-hard.
◦ Soft adhesives are suitable for hard concrete (for grinding to expose new diamond crystals).
◦ Hard adhesives are suitable for soft concrete (to prevent diamond crystals from falling off prematurely).
◦ Neutral adhesives are the most common and popular choice, suitable for most common concrete types.
