Trapezoid Half PCD w/ Double Arrow Coating Removal PCD Diamond Grinding Segment Concrete Tools
1. The Power of the “Arrow” Design
Unlike standard rectangular bars, Arrow Segments have sharp, pointed leading edges.
Slicing Action: While a standard bar grinds, the arrow “slices” into the coating residue. This is particularly effective for sticky adhesives (mastic, glue) that might otherwise smear under a flat bar.
Reduced Friction: The tapered shape allows the segment to penetrate the surface more easily, providing a more aggressive bite into the concrete substrate.
2. Why the “1/2 PCD + 2 Arrow” Combo?
This setup is designed for heavy-duty production:
Maximum Shredding: The 1/2 PCD chip acts as the primary “shredder,” tearing through thick epoxy, urethane, or waterproof membranes.
Double Stability: Two arrow segments provide a wider footprint than a single bar. This keeps the grinding head perfectly level, preventing the machine from “walking” or vibrating excessively when hitting uneven patches.
Integrated Surface Prep: The two arrow segments are usually a very coarse grit (roughly 16–25 grit). As the PCD removes the coating, the arrows immediately begin grinding the concrete, leaving a high-profile surface that is ideal for bonding new materials.
