Split-PCD diamond grinding shoes are installed on those walk-behind concrete floor grinders for use. The versatile Split PCD scrapes and rips off coatings from the surface, like 1-3mm epoxy, urethane, mastic, glue etc. The PCD tips will never load up or smear the coatings like a metal bond diamond tool.
Magnetic grinding shoes with three round segments are readily available for use on concrete and terrazzo floors. These tools are often used for medium to fine grinding, offering durability and a smooth finish.
HTC single bar grinding shoes are more aggressive compared to their double-segment plate. Because the machine’s entire weight is concentrated on half the surface area (one bar instead of two), they bite significantly deeper into the concrete and best for lighter machines.
