This HTC grinding shoe features two quarter-round PCDs for aggressive removal of coatings, adhesives, epoxy, paint, and other surface materials from concrete floors. Two additional square steel bases are used to weld the PCDs, increasing the tool’s strength and ensuring stable grinding performance. Original high-quality PCDs are used to ensure fast and efficient stripping without gumming up or clogging.
The M16 180mm PCD crossover diamond grinding cup wheel is designed for super fast removing hard and tacky surface coating including urethane epoxy, paint, glue, pool deck coating, waterproofing membrane, thick mastic,VCT mastic, black tar adhesive, old and new epoxy coating, as well as thick rubber materials on the concrete floor.
The segments of this grinding disc are profiled segments. Concrete grinding wheel is used on floor grinder, professionally used for grinding different hardness of concrete and masonry materials, removing hard epoxies, urethane, and other coatings or toppings. About Segments:
a.PCD without sacrificial bars or metal bond button are very aggressive, and will leave a very coarse profile on the concrete. They are suitable for fast and aggressive grinding, removal coating thicker than 3mm.
b.PCD with sacrificial bars or metal bond button are less aggressive, so they do not damage the concrete.The sacrificial bars or metal bond button act as a depth guide, and reduce the gauging of the floor cause by the aggressive PCD segments. Moreover, the metal bond will extend the life of PCD.
