The Terrco PCD grinding block adopts a trapezoidal design and is equipped with multiple circular or bar-shaped PCD segments, as well as bolt holes for convenient and quick installation onto compatible grinding equipment.
Main Uses
• Removal of Surface Coatings: The primary function of PCD grinding discs is to strongly remove various tough coatings from concrete floors, such as epoxy resin, adhesive, mastics, paint, sealants, and waterproofing layers.
• Surface Pre-treatment: They are used in floor renovation and repair to strip old coatings and grind down uneven surfaces, preparing them for subsequent new coating applications or polishing.
Features
• Polycrystalline Diamond (PCD): PCD is a composite material made by sintering tiny synthetic diamond particles under high temperature and pressure, possessing extremely high hardness and wear resistance.
•”Peeling” Rather Than “Grinding”: Unlike traditional diamond grinding wheels, PCD tools are designed to remove coatings through fracturing and peeling, excelling at handling soft materials and avoiding issues of clogging or coating smearing that are common with traditional abrasive wheels.
• Durability: Due to their ultra-hard material properties, PCD tools have a much longer lifespan compared to tungsten carbide or other traditional abrasives.
